Oracle Risk Consultants have comprehensive Hazard Registers covering the typical hazards and controls relevant to a wide range of offshore facilities. These are amended and updated as required to suit particular facilities. This avoids the need to start from scratch every time and guarantees continuous improvement.
Oracle Risk Consultants start HAZID workshops with a brainstorming session prior to the hazard register review to ensure that any new hazards are addressed. Using this method, we are able to dramatically reduce the time required for the workshop.
Oracle Risk Consultants have a standard Hazard Register format similar to a JHA / JSA. This makes it simple to understand by operations personnel and workshop attendees. The Client receives a Hazard Register in PHA-Pro, Word or Excel format regardless of how the HAZID workshop is conducted, facilitating updates by the Client.
We can automatically generate "Bowtie" diagrams in editable PowerPoint format from the Hazard Register using an in-house developed program "SmartBowtie".
Alternatively, Oracle Risk Consultants can produce bowties using proprietary software such as BowtieXP. However, the Client will need a licence to be able to update these.
